    Female Classics Graduate Student

My name is Chelsea. I am moving from Houston, Texas to attend Villanova’s Graduate Classics program in August, 2017. I would prefer to rent a private garage apartment or loft of some kind, but am also open to living with roommates. I live a clean, quiet, health conscious lifestyle. IF POSSIBLE, I would like to find a place where I could bring along my very well trained, people loving, handsome, calm, quiet, middle sized dog (Brittany Spaniel). He is fixed, doesn’t jump on people, and NEVER moves from his dog bed unless called.

I am open to any suggestions!

    Looking for female roommates

Hi! 🙂 I’m Alycia,  and I just accepted an offer from Villanova for the MA in Political Science program, and I’ll be starting August 2017. I’m just starting to look around at apartments, and looking for female roommates! I’m looking preferably for somewhere that’s furnished, but unfurnished is fine too. I like to keep things clean and I’ll be studying a lot obviously. I’m not a partier or anything, but I do like to have fun, and I’m pretty laid back. I’m looking for a nice place that I can get to campus easily and relatively quickly, that will give me a comfortable environment to study and live in. I currently live 2 hours away. Any ladies looking for someone to move into their current place, or even other first years looking for someone to figure this out with, send me an email at alyciarh715@gmail.com! I’m open to any suggestions! Can’t wait to hear from you!!

Housing and room mate for an Egyptian student coming to villanova this septemeper

    Hello fellas,

I have a furnished room to rent in my condo 10 1030 E Lancaster ave 19010(google the location). Because it is furnished, it is a good location for people who do not want to bring/buy furniture. It is 12 min walk to the edge of campus so a car is not needed. The building does not allow undergraduates to stay in the building so it is a good study place. I am a straight, middle aged, clean, statistical programmer/consultant who is often an adjunct professor at another college. Because of my work, I get frequent background checks so no drugs can be used, or stored, in the condo. Because of my work, a research oriented person might be an interesting match.

Hi Russ, I would be interested in looking into the apartment. How much is the rent? I am a grad student in the ECE department and I am looking for a new room since my lease is expiring in 2 months. I live in the same building so I could meet you whenever convenient. My details are below.

MPA Student Looking for a Roommate in 2 bedroom/1 bath in Roxborough

I’m a 27 year old grad student in the MPA program and a full-time professional.
I’m looking for a roommate for a 2 bedroom in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia, which is about a 20 min. drive to campus. My current roommate is graduating and moving out at the end of May, so the place is available beginning June 1. Our place is a cute 2 bedroom, about a 7 minute drive into Manayunk and 15 to Plymouth Meeting Mall. The place is completely furnished.
We have a dishwasher, washer/dryer in the unit, and an off-street parking space, which would be yours. Rent is $600 a month, and utilities (peco, pgw, Comcast) run about $50-100 a month per person depending on the season.
While I like to have fun, I’m not much of a partier. I enjoy relaxing and watching Netflix or going to the gym after work on nights I don’t have classes and exploring new places on the weekends. If you are interested, please email me at jacqueline.mackley714@gmail.com. I’m happy to send along some photos or set up a time for you to come check it out.
Hope to hear from you soon! 🙂
    Best regards,

Looking for a Roommate Around August Move-In

    Hey y’all!

My name is Ryan and I will be starting at Villanova in Fall 2017 in the Human Resource Development program! I’m super laid back and have lived with both males and females. I actually live with 3 females right now, so gender does not matter to me. I’m super laid back and get along with most everyone.

    A few things about me:

I’m obsessed with Disney and interned there two years ago for a year, and will be going back for this summer! I go to school at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and will be getting my B.S. in Psychology in 9 short days. I love traveling and studied abroad a year ago in Ireland. I love cooking & baking and almost went to culinary school instead of my undergrad. Also obsessed with the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals. If you have any other questions or want to chat about being potential roommates, y’all can email me at rvotsmi@siue.edu.

I do know these things can sketch out people a bit, so feel free to creep me on social media if it will make you more comfortable or want to. Facebook=Ryan Votsmier, InstaGram=@votsy, Twitter=@RyanVotsmier. Looking forward to hearing from y’all!

    Seeking Roommate(s) for June Rental

    Hello all!

My name is Rich and I am a graduate student moving in the area for a clinical affiliation. I am seeking a roommate(s) for an apartment rental starting the end of May (May 28th or up to June 1st).

I am planning to live in or around Devon (around 13 min. drive or train ride to Villanova), likely within close access to the train station. I am a non-smoker, generally active, and a quiet and respectful roommate, but I also enjoy good company and conversation.

Please reach out to me if you are interested in rooming together and to discuss budget and housing preferences! Thanks.

Fully Furnished Room 15 min walk to Villanova Campus – Available May 1

AVAILABLE MAY 1st – fully furnished room in pleasant, older Main Line home on quiet street, 10 to 15 minutes’ walk from Septa station and Villanova University. $540 rent includes EVERYTHING: all utilities, wireless broadband, landline phone if needed and carport or safe, on-street parking. There is 24/7 access to the kitchen as well as the washer and dryer. The house has nice views, three large lawns, and a garden to enjoy. If you like to garden, there is plenty of space to plant flowers, veggies or spices.
Our home is split level, so entrance to the upstairs tenant rooms is semi-private. Besides a bed (and bedding) the room has a large desk with chair; an oversized, room-width closet & shelves; lamps plus two large windows with pleasant view. Other chairs, lamps and art are available on request.
Three tenants share the 2nd floor, including bathroom with good shower. Another full bathroom is nearby but rarely needed, as tenants’ hours vary. The neighborhood and our home are always quiet — not for party people! Foreign students are very welcome; our family and home are international. Usually, our tenants are graduate students or young-adult professionals. Everyone here has busy lives, and we will not intrude on yours. The landlord and landlady are very nice professors.
The tenants’ floor is non-smoking. We have a small, elderly cat and prefer that tenants do not bring pets of their own. We strongly prefer tenants who will stay at least one academic semester. We do not ask for a security deposit or lease but do require at least three weeks’ notice before a tenant moves out. Pics of the room for rent are available on request. Email nbancroft@comcast.net.
