Roommate Wanted for Great Apartment Just a Short Walk from Campus: Move in as early as June 1st

Graduate students only, please.

Location: Bryn Mawr, PA, Lowrys Lane off Lancaster Ave, about 0.5mi (easy walking or biking distance) from Villanova U 

Rent is cheap compared to many other places on the Main Line in close proximity to the university– $580 per person.


The larger of 2 bedrooms in a 2nd floor apartment in a large triplex will be open starting in July 2018. I would say the open room is about 10x10ish. There is a shared bathroom. The apartment itself is much roomier than I expected it to be before moving in. Definitely a good size for the money. It will be partly but not completely furnished at the time of move-in. 

The residence is very quiet–it’s only grad students and non-students living in the triplex and the houses next door, so you won’t have to put up with any partying shenanigans. There’s good storage in the bedroom closets and the attic. The landlord is very good about helping out with repairs or anything else you need–she lives right next door. There is both on and off-street parking.

The apartment is about a 5min walk from the Norristown High Speed Line train, and from there about a 35-45min ride to center city Philly. The Paoli-Thorndale line is also about a 10min walk away. The apt is located very close to where Lowrys Ln interacts with Lancaster Ave, so there is a 106 bus stop right at the end of the road.

There’s a number of restaurants, convenience stores, and other shopping not far up the road in Bryn Mawr, and the location is about a 15min drive to King of Prussia. There’s an ACME about 1.5mi away a Giant about 3mi away, and a Mom’s Market (organic grocery) about half a mile away.

The place does not have a washer and dryer on site, but there is a laundromat about 0.4mi away.
